Today a unique function was held at Government medical collage , Amritsar in Swami vivekanad de- addition centre the award was given to rehabbed who under went de-addition and have't shown relapse for last one year.
Dr. Tajbir singh , was chief gust in his note he said about the present role situation of the drugs and substance abuse in community, and challenges of medical sciences.
Dr. S S Deepti appreciated the courage that rehabbed peoples has shown for there last one year , he told how human psychology works in making decision to say "No to drugs'
A special thanks awards was given to Nurses who are part of this successful story.
The real leaders for fight against problem of drugs in community are these "award winners' who became role model for other drug users . Today the other drug uses who came to this center also felt confident about become drug free , after they had the successful story's and how to develop attitude to over come drug addition.
Many NGOs are coming forward to support this center , such as SATHI conduct there programs on every Monday for 1 hr.
A day before , Er. Daljit Singh Kohi was at center to interact with patients and there relatives to assure that rehabilitation is a successful program , it is very much possible under the guidelines of medical experts. also Mr.Parshotom lal form SATHI explained the role of ngo in society in the community where drug and alcohol is becoming a growing disease.
The other day was to horner the people who had shown no relapse on there addiction cases.
