Virsa Vihar -Amritsar organised a 2010 welcome program with a noble goal , by setting up a fund for providing a pension cum emergency sustainable support for local artist & art related personal.

this was started with the assistance of MR. K. S Pannu, DC - amritsar, he said "its a very duty of the society to render a support at personals , who in prime time of there life provide there talent & vision to profess on the issues of societies with the help of art, when the others at time was at personal economical developments

the fund started with Rs 25,000, which raised about up to Rs 1,25,000 in just few hrs ( this is expected to go further donations in due time)

Noted urdu writer Mr. shrawan kumar is 1st to avail the pension.

later a short cultural program was performed, starting with a folk song by Bawa Sister, also a shot ply was performed - "Katha Kashmir", play gave a massage , how art & artist are targeted in the name of ' saving cultural & religion beliefs' . This play was written by Mr. Kawal Dhariwal
