With the beginning of the new year,the 12 NGO's of the city have come together with a different idea to work together this year,as said by them.."THE YEAR OF BIODIVERSITY" 2010.

They have taken 12 pledges for the year each representing to one month respectively and also released a calender with these pledges imprinted on it,as "Bara Mahine-Bara Sankalp".

 

The calender is enlisted with all the 12 pledges,the pledges include,protecting the girl child,fighting corruption,not polluting air and water,stop the sale and purchase of adulterated products,social justice,drug free society,As the various pledges are respective for each month,the month of january is designated as month of WOMEN EMPOWERMENT.
